Georgia Eye Partners (GEP) is pleased to welcome board-certified ophthalmologist Dr. Amit Bajaj to our team of dedicated specialists.
Dr. Bajaj brings a strong academic, research-based clinical background in advanced vision care, cornea and external disease management, LASIK and crosslinking. He has extensive training in cutting-edge vision treatment for corneal transplant techniques, such as Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK) and Descemet Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK). His practice approach embodies compassionate care and clinical excellence, delivering quality eye care services for his patients and the greater community.

Dr. Bajaj earned his medical degree from University of Mississippi School of Medicine and became a junior inductee in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at University of Texas Southwestern Hospital. He later completed a fellowship in corneal, external disease, and refractive surgery at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma. Throughout his academic and clinical career, Dr. Bajaj has received awards and national recognition for his research and presented his work at numerous medical conferences across the country.
Outside of the practice, Dr. Bajaj is committed to community service and has volunteered at free clinics, underserved schools, pediatric cancer programs and organizations supporting adults with disabilities.
He will see patients at GEP’s Northside practice and at Center for Sight Conyers practice.
