Steffie Shine, OD

Resident Optometrist

Steffie Shine, O.D., is a resident optometrist at Georgia Eye Partners with training in ocular disease. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry, where her clinical training included primary care, pediatrics, vision therapy, contact lenses, and advanced diagnostics. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Cell Biology from Georgia Gwinnett College.

During her externship rotations at The Eye Center at SCO, Dr. Shine gained experience in comprehensive eye exams, vision therapy, and the management of complex ocular conditions. She developed additional skills in contact lens fitting and optical services, bringing a well-rounded perspective to patient care.

Prior to her doctoral training, Dr. Shine worked in optical sales at LensCrafters, where she assisted patients with lens selection, fittings, and repairs, while also operating diagnostic instruments and educating patients on eyewear tailored to their visual needs.

She is passionate about providing high-quality, compassionate eye care and looks forward to serving patients in the Atlanta community as part of Georgia Eye Partners.
