Amit Bajaj, M.D. is a board-certified ophthalmologist with a strong academic and clinical foundation specializing in cornea and external disease management, LASIK, and crosslinking. He is committed to providing personalized, advanced eye care services using cutting-edge treatment, including corneal transplant techniques like Descemet Membrane Endothelial Keratoplasty (DMEK) and Descemet Stripping  Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty (DSAEK).

Dr. Bajaj earned his medical degree from University of Mississippi School of Medicine and became a junior inductee in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his ophthalmology residency at University of Texas Southwestern Hospital. He later completed a fellowship in corneal, external disease, and refractive surgery at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma.  

Throughout his academic and clinical career, Dr. Bajaj has authored several peer-reviewed studies and presented at numerous medical conferences across the country. His has received awards and national recognition for his research on a variety of topics, including ocular surface reconstruction and factors influencing intraocular lens exchange.

Dr. Bajaj is passionate about service and has volunteered extensively, providing eye care at free clinics and medical help to underserved schools, supporting pediatric cancer patients and helping adults with disabilities. His practice approach embodies compassionate care and clinical excellence, delivering quality eye care services for his patients and the greater community.
