Michaele Snyder, O.D.
Dr. Michaele Snyder joined Georgia Eye Partners in July 2021 as an Optometry Resident in Ocular Disease and Refractive/Ocular Surgery. Her primary areas of focus include anterior segment disease, cataracts and pre/post operative co-management. Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Dr. Snyder moved to Tennessee in 2014 and graduated with honors from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2017 with a degree in Biology.
Dr. Snyder received her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, TN in 2021. During her education, she was a member of the Ocular Disease Club, Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society, AOSA, Georgia Optometric Association and served on the executive board of SVOSH – or Student Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanity. Through her involvement with this organization, she has traveled to both Haiti and Colombia providing over 1,250 eye exams to local underserved communities.
During her training at SCO, Dr. Snyder completed her clinical rotations at Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta and Ducklo EyeCare in Nashville. In her free time, you can find Michaele throwing a tennis ball for her golden retriever Annie, finding new hiking trails and looking for her next cup of cold brew coffee.
