Kat Nguyen, O.D.

Ocular Disease Resident

Dr. Nguyen is originally from Montreal, Canada and is excited to join Georgia Eye Partners starting July 2022. Dr. Nguyen graduated from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec with a BSc degree in Molecular Biology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, Illinois.

During school, Dr. Nguyen earned numerous distinctions for clinical and academic honors and founded a successful mentorship program to support incoming students. She then went on to complete her clinical rotations at Providence VA Medical Center in Rhode Island, MVC Eye Care in New Hampshire, Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, and finally Georgia Eye Partners where she ultimately decided to pursue her residency training. She is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care for her patients.

Outside of the clinic, her other passions include volunteering with animals, tennis, and traveling. Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese and has working proficiency in Spanish.
