Brittany Bowman, O.D., M.S.

Ocular Disease Resident

Dr. Brittany Bowman is excited to join Georgia Eye Partners for the optometric residency program. Dr. Bowman is a Maine native and attended Tufts University in MA where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Then, she received her Doctorate of Optometry and Master of Vision Science from New England College of Optometry in Boston, MA, graduating with high honors and induction into Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society. 

Dr. Bowman trained clinically at Eye Consultants of Colorado, Buffalo Veterans Affairs Medical Center in NY, Charles River Community Health Center in MA and Jamaica Plain Veterans Affairs Medical Center in MA. Dr. Bowman sees residents in clinic.

While in school, Dr. Bowman was a student member of American Academy of Optometry and Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology and presented several research abstracts at these meetings. She also held several leadership roles, was a member of Lion’s Club and a teaching assistant for optics and immunology courses. 

In her free time she enjoys road and trail running, hiking and visiting family.
