Jennifer Pyle, O.D.
Dr. Jenna Pyle joined Georgia Eye Partners in July 2021 as a resident optometrist focusing on
ocular disease, refractive surgery, and specialty contact lenses. She is excited to work with and
learn from the GEP team and to provide exemplary care to the greater Atlanta community.
Dr. Jenna was diagnosed with an eye condition at a young age and was followed by a few
fantastic optometrists and ophthalmologists in California, where she grew up. These doctors
mentored her and helped her to discover and pursue her passion of optometry. She graduated
from Santa Clara University in California where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in
biology while minoring in economics. In her spare time she worked at her mentor’s optometric
practices, volunteered with several organizations, and played intramural volleyball. She
continued her education at the New England College of Optometry in Boston to earn her Doctor
of Optometry degree.
During her final year of clinical rotations, Dr. Jenna trained at Eye Consultants of Colorado, the
VA hospital in Bedford, Massachusetts, and at the Charles River Community Health Center in
Boston. During her time at these rotations she provided care for patients with a wide variety of
complicated conditions as well as provided eye exams in Spanish.
While attending the New England College of Optometry, Dr. Jenna participated in many club
programs including the National Optometric Student Organization and the American Optometric
Student Organization. She was the president of the College of Optometrists in Vision
Development club and was on the executive board of the Private Practice Club. She also
became a peer tutor for several courses and mentored many of the second and third year
optometry students during clinical rotations.
In her free time, you can find Jenna cooking, attending spin classes, hiking, and traveling or
exploring the city.
