Eyebrow Lift
Drooping brows often make the eyelids appear even droopier. The brow lift is most appropriate for patients who exhibit creases, ridges, frown lines between the eyebrows and lowered brow position. An instrument called an endoscope has revolutionized many types of surgery including the brow lift. The endoscope is a tiny video camera that enables Dr. Price to perform surgeries through very small incisions as apposed to the large, open incisions of more traditional methods. The incisions in the endoscopic brow lift are hidden in the hairline, leaving no noticeable scars. The tissue between the forehead and eyebrows is gently lifted, reducing the wrinkles and raising the brow line to its natural youthful position. The brow can be repositioned with less trauma, less risk, and less recovery time for the patient. This procedure is typically performed under general anesthesia.
Midface Lift
As the face ages, there is downward movement of the cheek fat and gradual sagging of the cheek skin. additionally, hollowing of the area under the eyes (the infraorbital region where the lower lid and cheek meet) becomes more apparent. Lastly, the fold between the corner of the nose and the side of the mouth (nasolabial fold) becomes exaggerated as the cheek descends. Lifting the cheek upward restores a more youthful contour. Depending on individual need, this procedure may be performed under local anesthesia or may require general anesthesia.
